Every watch that comes to Bua Luang follows the same initial stage: a careful assessment by a trained watchmaker, carried out before any work is agreed. We examine the movement, note its condition and history, identify what it needs, and share our findings in plain language.
Only once you have seen the assessment, received a clear price, and decided to proceed does the work begin. This sequence — look first, explain, then ask — is the foundation of how we operate.

Movement Clean & Service
A thorough service for mechanical watches, where the movement is dismantled, cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, re-lubricated with Swiss-grade lubricants, and regulated so it runs steadily once more. Recommended for watches that have not been serviced in several years, or that have begun to keep poor time. We explain the work plainly, welcome questions, and provide a written service record when the watch is returned.

Strap, Bracelet & Case Care
A considerate service that refreshes the parts of a watch the owner touches most: tired straps, loose bracelets, and lightly marked cases. We can fit a new strap or attend to a metal bracelet, gently refinish the case to a preferred degree, and check the fit and comfort. A good choice for a watch that runs well mechanically but no longer looks its best. Every finish and part is agreed with you beforehand.

Full Antique Watch Restoration
An attentive restoration for antique wrist and pocket watches, combining movement repair with conservation of original detail. The work may include making scarce parts by hand, treating corrosion carefully, conserving aged dials, and rebuilding the watch to run reliably while respecting its history. Each restoration begins with an unhurried written assessment and a plan discussed with the owner before any work proceeds.

Swiss-grade lubricants
Moebius oils and greases — the standard used by professional horological workshops worldwide — applied in correct quantities to each bearing surface.
Loupe and microscope inspection
All components are inspected under magnification. Wear on pivots, jewels, and gear teeth that is invisible to the naked eye is noted and factored into the work plan.
Secure storage throughout
Watches and their parts are stored individually and securely at all times. High-value pieces are held in dedicated secure compartments.
Owner informed at each stage
We contact you if anything changes, if an unexpected problem appears, or if additional work is needed. Nothing extra proceeds without your approval.
Written record for every job
Each completed service is accompanied by a plain-English record of the work done, parts replaced or made, and any observations for future reference.
